We Are the Champions: Final Live in Japan is a live concert video of English rock band Queen's performance at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Tokyo on 11 May 1985 as part of the Japanese leg of The Works Tour. The film's title is slightly inaccurate, as Queen actually performed two more shows in Japan in Nagoya on 13 May, and in Osaka on the 15th. Opinion may be divided about their albums, but it is difficult to fault them as a live act. However, this product seems to capture Queen at something of a dip in their live performance. The energy seen in the Milton Keynes DVD is absent here, and the vocals are pretty ropey by FM's usual standards. Recorded in Japan just 2 months before there historic live aid performance queen were trully back to form. However the only thing this dvd lacks at times is with the balance of the sound with although excellent, could have done with the remastering that wembley 86 and live at the bowl 82 recieved.
