Birth is a noble music experiment of 1969 that some listeners might find laughable at times, but anyone who appreciates good psychedelia will probably find some enjoyable listening in these tracks. There are a wide variety of sounds here that might beg comparison to artists like the Seeds, Janis Joplin, Country Joe, United States of America, Airplane, the Doors-but, wait, that's not really fair because Rebecca and the Farmers sound like themselves.
