The Rebel Kind - Lee Hazlewood. Rebel Kind has always had a rough groove to its tunes, with spellbinding melodies and sweet riffs it's poppy but still with a lo-fi punk tousle. Wetli grew up near campgrounds south of Jackson, listening to the Velvet Underground and Motown. She started playing guitar and writing songs as a teen and moved a bit north where she became sutured into the Ypsilanti-Ann Arbor music scene, developing the first Rebel Kind songs in 2012.
