Title: River's Edge 1986. River's Edge isn't perfect. I had honestly never even heard of it until I saw it mentioned as a superior film with the same basic themes as Bully by Larry Clark. I am very glad I rented it, and am a bit surprised I'd never heard of it. Welcome To The Edge is an album by Billie Hughes. The title track, Welcome To The Edge, also known by the Japanese song title Todokanu Omoi, is the hit single from the album and became the 1 International Single of the Year in Japan in 1992. All the songs are written by Billie Hughes and Roxanne Seeman with the exception of two songs with additional writers. Welcome To The Edge was released by Pony Canyon in Japan in 1991. Director: Tim Hunter. The nude, strangled body of a teenaged girl lies on the edge of the river. Her murderer is her boyfriend, Daniel Roebuck. All the kids in Roebuck's dismal, dead-end town know who committed the murder. Trouble is, no one bothers to turn Roebuck in some of the teens don't know how to react to the crime, while others, strung out on drugs and booze, just don't give a damn.
