My father Ronnie Draper, who died at age 35 in 1968 was a fixture on the San Francisco and Seattle music scenes in the 1950's and '60's, and was Rusty Draper. My dad plays banjo and sings with a local vocal quartet called the Fordomatics, and the song had the unique distinction of not only being released as a 45rpm record, but also as a postcard-record see first slide.
