Olas Permanentes. Type: Full-length. In this release the album title and the tracklist are translated into Spanish. Recording information: Recorded at Le Studio, Morin-Heights, Quebec during September and October 1979. Write your own review. This is the album where Rush went from prog to proggy, so to speak. This still has a good deal of progressive elements, but it also contains elements borrowed from another band in a more accessible style. This band would be The Police. The cover depicted the famous incorrect headline Dewey Defeats Truman on a newspaper in the bottom left corner. However, the Chicago Tribune the paper that originally published the error pressured the band to remove the headline. Some versions appear altered with either Dewei Defeats Truman or a blanked section. The billboards in the distance mid-right originally read Coca-Cola. However, the cola company objected to the use of their logo and the cover was changed to display the band members names in a similar typestyle t. Rush is the debut studio album by the Canadian rock band Rush, released on March 1, 1974, by the band's own label Moon Records in Canada and by Mercury Records in the United States and internationally. This first release shows much of the hard rock sound typical of many of the popular rock bands emerging earlier in the decade. Rush were fans of such bands as Led Zeppelin and Cream, and these influences can be heard in most of the songs on the album. Rushes is a 1998 ambient techno album by The Fireman, a duo composed of Paul McCartney and producer Youth. The title, when combined with the band name, references a lyric from the McCartney-penned Beatles song Penny Lane: And then the fireman rushes in, From the pouring rain, Very strange.
