Saïan Supa Crew was a French rap collective from the suburb of Bagneux, Paris, composed of three groups: Explicit Samouraï, OFX, and Simple Spirit. The group was formed in 1997. The name 'Saïan Supa' is a reference to the Super Saiyan from the manga and animé Dragon Ball ZGT. They achieved considerable fame throughout Europe and the rest of the world due to the fact that even non-francophones found it easy to fall victim to their infectious sense of rhythm.
