Joe, Scarface and Tone Capone. It peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Top R&BHip-Hop Albums and at number 4 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Platinum by the RIAA on April 6, 1998. The album features guest performances by 2Pac, Master P, Ice Cube, Devin the Dude, B-Legit, UGK, Too Short, Do or Die. Scarfaces My Homies is a double album released on March 3, 1998, through Rap-A-Lot Records and Virgin Records. Joe, Tone Capone, and Scarface himself. The album was certified platinum after peaking at 1 on the Billboard Top R&BHip-Hop Albums and 4 on the Billboard 200. The singles released from the album were Homies & Thuggs with Master P and 2Pac and Fuck Faces Sex Faces with Tela, Too hort, and Devin the Dude. All of these factors are reasons why his double-disc opus My Homies was not the greatest of ideas. Scarface simply doesn't have enough ideas to sustain an album of this gargantuan size, especially since it follows Untouchable by just a year. He recycles beats and basslines, and he repeats themes over and over again. The moments that do work, such as the dynamic Master P collaboration Homies & Thuggs, only put the weakness of the remaining album in sharper relief.
