Notes
Unofficial release. The jacket is similar to the tour version and reads "limited to 300," however, it is just a copy of the tour edition and is very possible that more than 300 copies exist.
The record is easily identifiable as an unofficial release because it has a cardboard jacket (whereas the original did not have a jacket, but silkscreen pressed sleeves) and is on a creamy-white colored vinyl.
Also does not have Selfless-logo on A-side label. Main difference from official version is as it does not have etching: JOEY WOULD HAVE BEEN PROUD. Comes with plastic inner.

Album
Screeching Weasel is the self-titled debut studio album by the Chicago-based punk rock band Screeching Weasel. It was originally released on vinyl with a limited pressing of 1,000 copies in September 1987 through local independent label Underdog Records and was the band's only album with bassist Vinnie Bovine, who was fired the next year. Screeching Weasel documents the group's early years as a hardcore punk band, with the music being heavily influenced by bands such as Adrenalin O. Angry Samoans. Ramones is the fourth album by American punk rock band Screeching Weasel. It covers the Ramones' debut album Ramones in its entirety. The band was approached to cover the album at a party for the completion of their fourth album, Wiggle. Having just lost bassist Johnny Personality, the band was unsure of its future, and they claim that the recording of these covers helped revitalize them. My favorite Ramones album is actually Leave Home, but we all agreed we could do a halfway decent job with their first album. They recorded the album with recording engineer Mass Giorgini at his Sonic Iguana Studios in Lafayette, Indiana, working from midnight on October 17, 1992 until 2:00 AM the following day, with the band members acting as. record producers. We recorded it at Sonic Iguana in something silly like fifteen hours, wrote Weasel, and mixed it to sound like the first Ramones album bass outta one speaker, guitar outta the other. The band gained prominence in the early 1990s after signing to East Bay punk label, Lookout Records and are cited to be a major influence over many bands playing that style of punk music.
