Album
Best Kept Secret is the fourth album by Scottish singer Sheena Easton. It was released in 1983 on EMI Records. Easton's first album to be recorded entirely in the United States, Best Kept Secret was produced by Greg Mathieson, Jay Graydon, and Trevor Veitch: Easton had planned to collaborate again with Christopher Neil, the London-based producer of her previous three albums, but it had eventuated that she and Neil had disparate ideas re her new album's material and style. Easton had also hoped that. Best Kept Secret. Sheena Easton - Best Kept Secret 1983. To favorites 1 Download album. Listen album. Pop Dance-Pop Soft Rock. Sheena Easton. Best Kept Secret is not a remarkably consistent effort, and finds the Belshill, Scotland native trying to keep up with commercial trends more than bringing forth quality material. Indeed, there are several gems to be found here in the sparkling cover of Dusty Springfield's Just One Smile and the strong ballad Almost Over You. This album isn't quite as tailor constructed for Easton as her previous release was. The idea of fully integrating her into the synthesizer oriented new wave era was a good one. Yet her vocal instrument was of such a melodically adventurous and passionate nature that the compositions she sang had to be complex enough to accommodate it. Sheena Easton's Best Kept Secret, her fourth studio effort, was released in 1983 and one of her top selling albums. Three hits came off of it - Telephone 9, Almost Over You 25 and Devil in a Fast Car 79. Complétez votre collection Sheena Easton. Vendre cette version. TC-EMC 1077951. Best Kept Secret Cass, Album.
