Sigríður Níelsdóttir 1930-2011 was a Danish-Icelandic lady, who has been making lo-fi music all her life, back indeed before the term 'lo-fi' was ever coined. Finally, in 2001 the world caught up with her and she began recording prolifically. Her music incorporates children's songs, psalms, folk choruses constructed from a sample of a pack of dogs barking household implements, you name it.
