Stars is the fourth album by British-based popsouljazz band Simply Red, released in September 1991. Five singles were released from the album, including the UK top ten hits Stars and For Your Babies. The album was a worldwide success, particularly in the band's home country where it has been certified twelve times platinum and was the best-selling album of the year in the UK for both 1991 and 1992, the first album to be the best-seller in two consecutive years since Simon & Garfunkel's Bridge.
