Album

So Far. The Best Of is a greatest hits album released by Irish singer Sinéad O'Connor in 1997. The collection features songs appearing on O'Connor's first four studio albums, along with several non-album collaborations. Heroine and Empire are also included on O'Connor's 2005 compilation album Collaborations. The album was her last album with Chrysalis Records, as she later moved to Atlantic Records in 1998. Nothing Compares 2 U Prince. Mandinka O'Connor. Songs in album Sinéad O'Connor - So Far: The Best Of Sinead O'connor 1997. Sinéad O'Connor - Nothing Compares 2 U. Sinéad O'Connor - Mandinka. Sinéad O'Connor - The Emperor's New Clothes. Sinéad O'Connor - The Last Day Of Our Acquaintance. Sinéad O'Connor - Fire On Babylon. Sinéad O'Connor - Troy. Sinéad O'Connor - I Am Stretched On Your Grave. Sinéad O'Connor - Succes. Part of the problem is the fact that O'Connor is an album artist that happens to deliver great singles as well, which means there will be essential tracks missing from a collection, even if it relies solely on the singles. So Far decides to circumvent this problem by combining album tracks with singles, but that doesn't work, since it gives the patchy Universal Mother preference over the excellent The Lion and the Cobra and omits such singles as Three Babies. O'Connor achieved worldwide success in 1990 with a new arrangement of Prince's song Nothing Compares 2 U. The Best of Sinead O'Connor provides a thorough sampling of O'Connor's early years. Emotionally charged rockers like Emperor's New Clothes and Mandinka are essential inclusions, as are her rhythmic explorations with Bomb The Bass, Empire, and the early I Want Your Hands On Me. Sadly, her Cole Porter contribution to Red, Hot, And Blue was omitted
