Amusing the Amazing is an EP released by American stoner rock band Slo Burn in 1996. It contains only four songs, and sounds very much in the vein of Kyuss, of stoner rock fame, partly due to having been co-produced by Chris Goss, who also produced much of the music of Kyuss, and partly due to the presence of John Garcia, formerly of Kyuss, on vocals. Later unofficial releases of this EP had added tracks from their earlier five track demo. The quality of these extra tracks is inferior to the normal EP. Slo Burn are a loud four-piece with a sound that places them somewhere east of grunge and west of metal. Their songs tend toward simple structures formed out of monolithic rhythm guitars, cracking drums, a handful of vocal harmonies that seem out of place, and whining guitar solos that come and go and vibrate weirdly on the way.
