Album
Twice Removed is the second album by Canadian rock band Sloan, released on Geffen Records in 1994. Listen free to Sloan Twice Removed Penpals, I Hate My Generation and more. More melodic than their previous album, Smeared, Geffen gave the record little promotion because it defied the label's commercially dominant grunge rock style of the time. Twice Removed Deluxe Reissue, 1994. Listen album. 01 - Penpals. Sloan - Loosens. Sloan - I Hate My Generation. The band and Geffen parted ways after Twice Removed's release. Hes not totally off the mark not only did Twice Removed return to its 1996 position, but the 2 and 3 albums Neil Youngs Harvest and Joni Mitchells Blue, respectively also returned to their original positions. A far superior effort to Sloan's scattershot debut, 1994's Twice Removed is a clever and varied collection of smart and catchy pop songs. Twice Removed made it to the 1 spot on our Top 50 back in 1996, but with the album being only two years old, naysayers griped that it wouldnt have any staying power.
