One Way Out - Sonny Boy Williamson. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. The way he plays harmonica is straight out of the country, with only a slight trace of the kind of microphone and amplifier distortion that the slightly younger Little Walter would exploit. Even the way these two harmonica men solo is quite different. Williamson can and does give individual notes detailed attention, creating a sound that could make a listener think the instrument responsible must be the size of a car, not something small enough to be tucked into a shirt pocket. One Way Out is a blues song first recorded and released in the early-mid-1960s by Sonny Boy Williamson II and Elmore James, an R&B hit under a different name for G. Crockett who also recorded as G. Davy Crockett in the mid-1960s, and then popularized to rock audiences in the early 1970s and onward by The Allman Brothers Band. As with many blues songs, the history of One Way Out falls into murk. It seems to have been originally recorded by Elmore James at Beltone Studios in New York City in. The Sonny Boy Williamson single One Way Out, Nine Below Zero is released. This is the first release of One Way Out. Elmore James recorded it already in late 1960 or early 1961, but that recording was never released. Sonny Boy Williamson recorded a different version of One Way Out with Buddy Guy in 1963. The Allman Brothers Band recorded One Way Out on June 27, 1971 at the Fillmore East in New York. It was released in 1972 on their Eat A Peach album. One Way Out. Sonny Boy Williamson. One Way Out is a live album by the Allman Brothers Band. It is the first live album to feature Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks together, although both had appeared separately on previous live albums. It was recorded during the group's annual Beacon Theatre run in New York City on March 25 and 26, 2003, and released a year later. The album features extended jams and guitar solos that showcase the virtuosity of Trucks and Haynes. While the original Allman Brothers Band focused both on jazz-based soloing. The list of great solos here would include virtually the entire album, but special standouts are on You Killing Me, Don't Lose Your Eye, I Wonder Why, and I Know What Love Is All About. Also keep an ear open for Like Wolf, a slower song that stretches its musical tension almost to the breaking point
