Voyage is the debut album by the Brooklyn-based band, Spaces. Made up of conceptual/experimental post-rock songs that were released monthly, collectively telling a story bound together by similar sounds and sonic qualities. Artwork inspired by each respective track was also released alongside the songs, created by local artist and friend, James Sanford.

Spaces is an experimental/instrumental band formed in 2008, comprised of Franco Colon and Duke Ahrens; two Florida natives currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. The two write and record all songs, with the occasional help of guest performers.

Unlike Voyage, Spaces opted to release the album all at once instead of their previous song-a-month approach. The release of this album was preceded by a promotional teaser video, which featured Ahrens and Colon performing with supporting musicians, as well as footage of the scenery surrounding their boat studio. In the months following the release of NEBAATV, guitarist Nathan Lyons, bassist Ian Dudley, multi-instrumentalist Jason Choi, and synth player Jake Beal were added to the band's roster as they prepared to play live for the first time. Spaces played their first show on September 2. The only song I rescued from that album was the song Voyage, which I included in this album, but I made a remake of it.
