Martin Stimming born December 1983, better known under his stage name Stimming, is a Hamburg-based music producer. He is well known for using hand-made sounds and field recordings in his compositions, and crafting improvised sounds during live sets. Born in Giessen, and raised in Butzbach, both near Frankfurt, Stimming is a classically-trained musician he played the violin, piano and drums at age ten.
