The Wagner pieces were will-played, but I was not exactly bowled over by them. The Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody 2 and Enesco's Romanian Rhapsody 1 were my favorites on the album, though I like Smetana's Moldau. Any of these Living Stereo SACDs are must-haves - the sound is absolutely breathtaking. And why quibble as so many here do . But for less discriminating listeners, the disc called Rhapsodies by Leopold Stokowski on RCA Living Stereo will be just the thing to clear the air after too much Mozart and Schubert.
