Arriving after a prolific stretch of EPs, singles, and remixes since 2010, and recorded in the hopeful turn from spring to summer 2011, its something of a culmination. Teen Dazes music has always suggested an auditory utopia this album now propels those aesthetic notions forward in the timeline, resulting in a present moment awareness, rather than trademark nostalgia. By 2012, most of the acts associated with chillwave had put out their debut albums, but one of the most chilled-out purveyors of this style, Teen Daze aka producer Jamison didn't release his first full-length until that year. Previously, Jamison's singles, EPs, and remixes had marked him as a particularly breezy and nostalgic artist working in this airiest and most retro of styles, a feeling that continues on All of Us, Together. All of Us, Together is a slight affair, with Teen Daze desperately clinging to genre hallmarks when he has the potential to be so much more. Full Review. His first albums were released in 2010, attracting the attention of online music press outlets such as Pitchfork Media. Signing with Lefse Records, he released the full-length All of Us Together in 2012, followed quickly by Glacier in 2013. On his 2015 John Vanderslice-produced album Morning World, Teen Daze shifted from an electronic-driven style with elements of. Teen Daze has made available the album track Brooklyn Sunburn. The track's intro replicates a sunny day in the city, with lush vocals and silky synths. After a few moments, the whole affair shifts into slightly glitchier territory. All of Us Together acts as his first full-length album and his most upbeat outing with songs that are, for lack of a better term, danceable.
