Album

The Beatles, also known as the White Album, is the ninth studio album and only double album by the English rock band the Beatles, released on 22 November 1968. Its plain white sleeve has no graphics or text other than the band's name embossed, which was intended as a direct contrast to the vivid cover artwork of the band's previous LP Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. The Beatles is recognised for its fragmentary style and diverse range of genres, including folk, British blues, ska, music hall. The Beatles early releases were on the Vee-Jay, Swan and Tollie labels, before EMIs US counterpart, Capitol, sat up and took notice. Unfortunately for The Beatles, Capitol often insisted in dropping certain tracks, reassembling running orders and constructing new releases by economic and judicious use of the songs that were coming from London. The Capitol albums also contained a handful of alternative mixes and instrumental tracks not available anywhere else. Some of these are available on the Capitol Albums volumes, and are worth investigating for anyone interested in variations in tracklis. The Beatles - The Beatles 1968. The Beatles or The White album as it became better known was released on 22nd November, 1968 on the fifth anniversary of their second album, With The Beatles. A total of 34 new tracks were released in 1968 and 30 were contained on this one double-LP. The Beatles' Second Album shows just how complex things were already starting to get. For its 11 songs, Capitol borrowed the remaining five tracks from With the Beatles, their most recent single She Loves You, Ill Get You and four stray tracks: Long Tall Sally and I Call Your Name from a British EP, Thank You Girl the From Me to You B-side and You Cant Do That, from the. The erroneously titled Beatles 65 was, including the Vee-Jay and UAs soundtrack, the seventh album of Beatles music to hit shelves in 1964. But it was as close to a concurrent U. record as they got that year. The U. Albums is a box set released in 2014, comprising all of the Capitol Records albums, which were released only in North America. The box set consists of the following albums. This album along with Beatles VI is the best of the US albums. It's mostly a rocker, with some R&B tunes thrown in for good measure. Add the cool retro packaging, and you'll be looking at the TV Guide to see when the Lads from Liverpool will be on The Ed Sullivan Show. Unboxing The U. Albums box set by The Beatles. Each song on the sprawling double album The Beatles is an entity to itself, as the band touches on anything and everything it can. This makes for a frustratingly scattershot record or a singularly gripping musical experience, depending on your view, but what makes the so-called White Album interesting is its mess
