The Coachmen from Peoria, Illinois featuring a tune written by16-year-old Dan Fogelberg. Other members of the group include: John Asher, Tom Cain, 2nd song is Maybe Time Will Let Me Forget, written by Dan Fogelberg and performed with the Coachmen. Both were recorded 1967 when Dan was Won't Let Me is the first studio album by the Outsiders. It was named after the band's early 1966 break-out single, Time Won't Let Me. Although never released individually as a CD, the band's first two albums were reissued on Liberty Bell as a two-fer CD, along with bonus tracks catalogue number PCD-4365. They were cut at Golden Voice Recording studio in South Pekin, Illinois, and released on Ledger Record's label: Maybe Time Will Let Me Forget and Don't Want to Lose Her. After graduating from Woodruff High School in 1969, Fogelberg studied theater arts and painting at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign while playing local venues with a folk-rock band, The Ship. The double album included four of his biggest hits: Same Old Lang Syne, Hard to Say, Leader of the Band, and Run for the Roses. In 1984, he released the album Windows and Walls, containing the singles The Language of Love and Believe in Me. Last time I saw Dan Fogelberg perform.
