Just months before Y2K nearly ended the world, The DC Show was formed in the hallways of an Edmonton-area High School, up in Alberta, Canada. Brought their love of 90's Gangsta Rap - King Dylan, MC Mossberg, Buttnz, and GQ managed to survive the Doomsday apocalypse and continue making their explosive, weird, and amazing brand of singable Hip Hop music. It has been 6 years since the last release Bizarremageddon and 8 years since the debut Smacked By Popular Demand last showcased all the original members. The Show is the debut album by Hip Hop supergroup eMC, which consists of rappers Masta Ace, Punchline, Wordsworth and Strick. While it was originally rumored that Ace had retired from music after the release of his acclaimed 2004 concept album A Long Hot Summer, the following year the veteran had formed the new collective with his protégé, Milwaukee rapper Strick, and revered underground lyricists Punch & Words.
