The Ethical Debating Society began as the psuedonym for Tegan, who began writing anti-love songs on her hooty piano, but quickly blossomed into a full band, and after a couple of line up changes, the group now consists of not only Tegan on vocal duties, but Kris helping too. Both Tegan and Kris play guitar, while Rob also of Tall Stories fame hit the drums. Very hard. Initially conceived of as a solo project, The Ethical Debating Society was formed as a band in 2009 by Tegan Christmas with Lauren Darling and Chris Morris.
