Later records, specifically 1988s Only Life and 90s Time for a Witness, may have lacked the nervy undulations and defined textures Of Crazy , but compensated with a noticeably linear tact. This was no doubt a symptom of the Feelies reshuffled lineup that came about after the bands lengthy early 80s hiatus, but I dont have nearly enough time to delve into the specifics of that. Nonetheless, two new reissues on BarNone prove these Hob. Only Life. Feelies Format: Audio CD. My favorite Feelies album but Time For A Witness is a close second. This band was hugely influenced by the Velvet Underground and thats a good thing. They in turn were a huge influence on a ton of 80s-90s bands including Yo La Tengo, Luna, Vulgar Boatmen, Speed The Plough, Acetone, REM, and the list goes on.
