This record has had at least three distinct pressings: one on translucent green vinyl, one on clear vinyl (both limited to 500) and the most common on black vinyl. They are also labeled incorrectly as 33 1/3 RPM albums and are actually meant to be played at 45RPM.

Red Letter Day is an EP by American rock band The Get Up Kids. It was released before their second full-length album Something to Write Home About. It featured James Dewees on the keyboard. Shortly after the album was released, Dewees joined the band full-time. The album was recorded in 1997 at Red House Studios by Ed Rose, the producer of the band's first EP Woodson.
