THE RUBBER SOUL PROJECT 1 is imaginary Beatles album published in Belgrade, Serbia in 1996, created by the Rubber Soul Project. For 15 original songs, inspired by the titles of songs the Beatles recorded but never released, lyrics were written by author and translator Goran Skrobonja, and music composed by Rastko Ćirić. Music producers were Nebojša Ignjatović and Miroslav Cvetković. Executive Producer was Dragan Ašanin. The Rubber Soul Project or short RSP is a band which recorded only one album called The Rubber Soul Project in 1996. The band got the name from the famous Beatles record Rubber Soul released in 1965. The Rubber Soul Project is an interesting concept: take the titles of a number of unreleased Beatles songs and try to create Beatles-y songs based on the titles. Project co-conspirators Rastko Ciric and Goran Skrobonja state in the liners Nobody has ever heard those 'lost' songs and we got an idea to 'reconstruct' them ourselves, since only the titles were listed in some were impatient to hear those songs, so we thought them up.
