It was the first Shamen album to feature Mr C, and the last to feature Will Sinnott who died on 23 May 1991. It fused the band's past psychedelic rock sounds with the rave act it became, developing a style that represented multicultural dance music. The album was included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die. The version of En-tact released in the U. and in the UK from 1991 onwards, had a different track listing: . Amazing album from the early Shamen some brilliant diverse electronica, minus MR C the prancing prize twat who later joined the band and wrecked it putting cheesy raps on every tune. The original 1990 release with the original unmixed Human NRG is the best with black cover and silver writing, not the remixed later 91 pop version. The fact that En-Tact was rereleased with the addition of Mr. C's yammering indicates it further. En-Tact is a brilliant release, but only if you can find the original presented above.
