The four tracks featured on this EP were recorded on January 11th 1985 and are alternative studio recordings completed prior to the final sessions for the First And Last And Always album. "The Last Magician Of Rational Thought" has been limited to 1526 copies, 1500 of which are individually numbered. Twenty six copies, lettered A-Z, which come in a gatefold sleeve, have been reserved for private distribution.
