My impression of it may be influenced by its being my first exposure to The Velvet Underground, but I still enjoy it and think it is the best best of I've heard for listenability, and there is not one song that I feel the need to skip over for not being in the mood. It was the departure of Lou Reed before he took off with his solo career, and the bands effort to make more of commercial play, which it was quite ironic from the previous albums.
