Album

Barking is the eighth studio album by British electronic group Underworld, released on 2 September 2010. The lead single, Scribble, produced with Welsh drum and bass producer High Contrast, was released on 28 June 2010. Each track on the album was written by band members Karl Hyde and Rick Smith in Essex, before being sent to producers well known for their contributions to trance, drum and bass and dubstep. Underworld - Always Loved A Film, sound recording administered by: SME and Essential Music. Underworld - Moon In Water, sound free to Underworld Barking Bird 1, Always Loved a Film and more. 9 tracks 53:44. Barking is the title of Underworlds first album in three years, and their first to be constructed with a brilliant cast of co-conspirators. All the tracks were written by the band in their Essex studio before being given to handpicked studio heads from across the whole spectrum of dance music to add some of their style and creativity to the bands raw material. The result is a pimped-up Underworld record and their finest collection of songs in over a decade. Barking was released in 2010 and was Underworlds sixth studio album celebrating 30 years together. It was their first time working with other producers from across the spectrum of modern dance music including Welsh Drum and Bass artist High Contrast, Mark Knight, D. Ramierez and four time Grammy Award winner Dubfire. Barking Album Tracklist. Underworld's eighth album found the duo seeking outside production, which came in the form of a half-dozen dance heavyweights who pull the aging duo in several different directions, mostly pop, trance, and, occasionally, their native techno. The opening Bird 1 is a glorious return to form, featuring a production from Dubfire that recasts the duo in the gritty, rain-soaked techno of 1993, a dead ringer for Dubnobasswithmyheadman's Dark & Long. Album 2009 9 Songs. 2010 Smith Hyde Productions under exclusive licence to Universal Music Operations Ltd. More By Underworld. Cooking Vinyl. Barking doesn't contain nearly enough of these moments, but the ones it does contain feature the kind of backlit, uplifting anthem-making that Underworld have only occasionally dabbled in think: Rez or, more recently, Two Months Off. It's a really good fit for the band. On Scribble, Hyde sounds reconciled: And it's okay You give me everything I need. The arrangement is bright and lithe. It features the same rush-rush-rush drum programming of heyday Underworld, but it doesn't feel like the song is trying slap you in the face. It's typical Underworld, albeit a more restrained and less hedonistic version than their Trainspotting-assisted commercial heyday: these days, they're more likely to be shouting latte, latte, latte.
