While a few of these tracks are the original hit recordings - including I Can Help by Billy Swan, El Paso by Marty Robbins, The Battle of New Orleans by Johnny Horton, and Behind Closed Doors by Charlie Rich - the majority are inferior re-recordings. Country K-Tel style: the hits, but hardly enough to get the party started. Yes, it's one of those slim offerings probably best appreciated by only the most casual fan.
