Now That's What I Call Music 27 was released on March 11, 2008. It debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, although, with opening week sales at 169,000 units, it was the lowest opening week for a Now album from the main series since the first volume. Now 27 features two Billboard Hot 100 number-one hits, Kiss Kiss and No One, and has been certified Platinum by the RIAA. Now That's What I Call Music simply titled NOW was released on October 27, 1998. In following the success of its UK predecessors, this first U. version of Now reached platinum status as certified by the RIAA. The compilation includes three songs. Now That's What I Call Music often shortened to Now is a series of various artists compilation albums released in the United Kingdom and Ireland by Sony Music and Universal Music UniversalSony Music which began in 1983. Spinoff series began for other countries the following year, starting with South Africa, and many other countries worldwide soon followed, expanding into Asia in 1995, then the United States in 1998. The 27th volume of the Now series covers the big radio hits from the latter half of 2007 and the first couple months of 2008 - the songs you've either come to hate or can't help but crank whenever they come on, even if you've heard them each hour you've tuned into your favorite stations.
