For Septic Cuts, Andrew Weatherall collected eight tracks of vinyl-only ephemera from his SoP label. It's a bit of a disappointment that the first two tracks, Sugar Daddy by Secret Knowledge and a David Holmes remix of Smokebelch II by Weatherall's Sabres of Paradise crew, are the best tracks on the collection. Despite okay selections from Conemelt and Psychic TV's Genesis P-Orridge as PT001, the collection is of interest only to Weatherall fans. The Sabres of Paradise were a British electronic music group from London, England. It consisted of Andrew Weatherall, Jagz Kooner, and Gary Burns. The Sabres of Paradise were formed in London, England in 1992. Andrew Weatherall formed the group with engineers Jagz Kooner and Gary Burns and became responsible for the Sabresonic warehouse raves. The groups name was inspired by the b-side of the Haysi Fantayzee single John Wayne is Big Leggy.
