The first Windham Hill sampler album was released in 1981, and this, released a year later, is the follow-up with a concept that is as simple as it is brilliant: it covers all 9 albums that Windham Hill had released not covered by Sampler 81, with one track from each of those albums. Let's take a look. The 82 sampler is a great blend of music and artists, an excellent introduction to Windham Hill and its stable of great musicians.
