Album

This recording of La fida ninfa 1732, featuring some of the most expert performers of Baroque opera, won a prestigious Diapason d'Or award. Jean-Christophe Spinosi leads the French ensemble Matheus in a performance of enormously supple energy and musical finesse. La fida ninfa The Faithful Nymph, RV 714 is an opera by Antonio Vivaldi to a libretto by Scipione Maffei. The opera was first performed for the opening of the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona on 6 January 1732. Among the arias is Alma oppressa de sorte crudele Soul oppressed by cruel fate. La fida ninfa - Sandrine Piau, Veronica Cangemi, Marie-Nicole Lemieux, Lorenzo Regazzo, Philippe Jaroussky, Sara Mingardo, Ensemble Matheus, Jean-Christophe Spinosi Naive, 3CDs Recorded Église Notre-Dame du Liban. His choice of singers is stellar in terms of talent and name recognition. His interpretation of Vivaldi is a crowd pleaser for instrumental vibrancy, and excitement. This album marks not just Spinosi's indulgent approach to Vivaldi, but an evolution in how Naive is interpreting the composer. La Fida Ninfa, RV 714, Sinfonia RV 725: molto. Antonio Lucio Vivaldi 4 March 1678 28 July 1741 was an Italian Baroque musical composer, virtuoso violinist, teacher, and priest. Born in Venice, the capital of the Venetian Republic, he is regarded as one of the greatest Baroque composers, and his influence during his lifetime was widespread across Europe. Vivaldi La Fida Ninfa Full Album. Movies : La Fida Ninfa. Naive, three CDs. Tim Ashley. Published on Fri 24 Jul 2009 BST. Like most of Vivaldi's operas, La Fida Ninfa was flung together in almost indecent haste - in this instance in December 1731 for the opening of Verona's Nuovo Teatro Filarmonico the following month. Dramatically, you could say that it creaks a bit. The faithful nymph of the title is Licori, who is determined to remain constant to Morasto, to whom she was betrothed as a child. 18 La Fida ninfa, opera in 3 acts, RV 714- Act 1. Scene 9.
