War All the Time is the third studio album by American rock band Thursday. Following the release of their second album Full Collapse 2001, the group had a series of negative experiences with their label Victory Records regarding promotion. While this was happening, the group was contacted by major labels, and in May 2002, signed to Island Records. The signing was made official later in the year when an exit agreement was made with Victory Records. In November, the group started writing new material. Thursday - War All The Time 01. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. War All the Time, its Island debut, arrives grandiose and gatefolded, with moody, urban impressionist artwork and a thank-you list that lasts for miles. Helmed by longtime Thursday producer Sal Villanueva and mixed by Rumblefish, the album rocks on the dynamics between singing and screaming, between rage unleashed and thoughts cast inward. Lyrically, the band's earnestness is admirable. In the spring, you will bloom, like her heart We'll douse ourselves in gasoline and hang our bodies from the lampposts - coupled with musings on suicide and life's never. War All The Time - Thursday. The title is from a poetry collection by Charles Bukowski and the band has stated on numerous occasions that it is not political, but rather that it reflects the struggles we all face in our daily lives. This album was produced by Sal Villanueva who has produced all of Thursdays previous recordings. The album was the bands major label debut, and it enjoyed measurable success, peaking at 7 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. War All the Time Q&A. No, thanks. more quotes. All stations. Now playing: Shawn Mendes Señorita. Doja Cat Say So. Smooth Radio. To sum up, 'War All The Time' is a little disappointing to a point, yet is still a decent album. It is rather inconsistent, but gets by on its highlights and its ability to grow on the listener over time. First listens will undoubtedly be met with skepticism, but Thursday's usual intricacies become apparent on further listens and their interesting songwriting both lyrically and musically eventually shine through. Add this to the intensity being taken down a notch and the musicianship not quite being used as well as their previous release and one has to conclude this is more of a bridging album. It will be interesting to see what is served up next. War All the Time. Asleep in the Chapel. This Song Brought to You by a Falling Bomb. Steps Ascending. Tomorrow I'll Be You
