Australian WRC 1st pressing, sourced from original stampers and featuring unique sleeve art. Mono and stereo versions have an identical sleeve and the same number on the back (FE 50) - the mono version has "FE-50" on beige 'strobe' labels, while the stereo has "SFE-50" on green 'strobe' labels. The stereo was issued with a large "S" sticker on the front of the sleeve.

Issued as a free 'ambassador' LP for members, in return for roping in a new member to the club, then offered as a 'dividend' LP, offered at a low price (15 shillings, instead of the regular 35) for club members who had bought one LP or more in the previous 12 months. Available until July 1962 (those from after March 1962 may turn out to have "The Griffin Press" on the back of the cover). issued again in July 1965.

This is superlative music, tremendously engaging and stylish, with nice touches of the unpredictable. The leader Wolfgang Sawallisch may occupy an position analogous to Weber despite a long and distinguished career he was plainly overshadowed by others.
