Album

Maladroit is the fourth studio album by American rock band Weezer, released on May 14, 2002 by Geffen Records. Produced by the band, it was their first album to feature bassist Scott Shriner, following the departure of former bassist Mikey Welsh in 2001. Musically, the album features heavy metal riffs uncommon to Weezer's previous releases. The album debuted and peaked at number. Maladroit is the fourth studio album by Weezer, released on May 14, 2002. Maladroit shows off a more heavy sound for Weezer and with Rivers Cuomo taking more control of the band than he ever had before. Cuomo also took fan consideration into the making and title of the album, despite the declining relationship he felt like he had with the fans. The personal songwriting is still suppressed on Maladroit and further on Weezers third studio album Weezer The Green Album due to the commercial failure of. About Maladroit. Released in May of 2002, Maladroit is Weezers fourth studio album. With the addition of bassist Scott Shriner after the 2001 departure of Mikey Welsh, the band developed a harder, heavier sound. For the first time, Weezer began to rely heavily on their fans. Setting up message boards and communicating with fans, frontman Rivers Cuomo began to post demos and take feedback. The name Maladroit was even a fan suggestion. Maladroit Q&A. Weezer - Maladroit 2002. To favorites 2 Download album. Listen album. Alternative Rock Indie Rock Powerpop. I'm unsure if I'll be able to upload any albums after the Green Album so for now, enjoy the show no dope nose or slapping involved hopefully. Track listing: 1. American Gigolo 2. Dope Nose 3. They'd release an album, tour all year, write a bunch of songs, record 'em, release another album a year later. Since hardly anybody - not even indie bands - did that in 2002, it's a remarkable event when Weezer does exactly that, especially following a half a decade of inactivity. But, it's hard not to think that this is the way it should be done by all bands, since Maladroit retains the high quality of The Green Album. Album 2002 13 Songs. More By Weezer. Weezer Red Album. Weezer Teal Album. Make Believe. Album review: Maladroit by Weezer. Jonas Wiefield. Язык: Русский. Страна: США. With Maladroit, Weezer has finally given the full punt to the nerd-rock label they sorta invented and always shunned, settling instead for being our generation's version of Cheap Trick. Rockford, Illinois' finest is just one of the classic guitar-worship pop bands invoked by the majority of the songs here, many of which seem like slight musical and thematic variations upon I Want You to Want Me, and all of which make room for a fingers-flying solo
