Album

Mastered At Bonati Mastering Photography By Ruthie Swanson Songwriter, Music By, Recorded By, Artwork Tim Growing Faith also occasionally referred to as White Fence Is Growing Faith is a 2011 album by Tim Presley under the moniker White Fence. The album was first released on January 18, 2011 through Woodist. Presley served as the album's primary artist and worked as the album's composer, engineer, and lyricist, as well as designing the album's artwork. Some vocals were performed by Emily Sills. All tracks are written by Tim Presley, except where noted. Album 2011 16 Songs. White Fence is his California sun-cured vision of 60s, psych-folkpop, and his vision is delightfully purist in its nostalgia. Even the lo-fi production feels old, warm and analog, with occasional hissing and crackling heard amid the shambling, strummy guitars and woozy reverb. Tracks like the patchouli-scented Sticky Fruitman Has Faith and faintly Velvets-flavored Get That Heart sound like long-lost Pebbles tracks, and the lovely A Pearl Is Not a Diamond revisits the gossamer sounds of Jefferson Airplanes Surrealistic Pillow. Summary: Darker My Love's Tim Presley releases his second solo album. Buy On. Record Label: Woodsist. Is Growing Faith feels more like an actual lost psychedelic-era gem than a revivalist record. Anyone expecting White Fence to be an extension of Darker My Love are in for a lysergic surprise. Sure, listen to Is Growing Faith, and you'll hear the same '60s love that's in Presley's day-job band. I have listened to this album a fair amount over the past year or so and haven't gotten tired of it. It is not a favorite, but is interesting when I want to hear something different. I like the upbeat numbers. I bought it after hearing Sticky Fruitman Has Faith on a surfing video
