"Svatasmeden og Lundamyrstrollet" is the story of an old tale from Sogndal, Valfar's hometown, about a blacksmith and the Lundamyrs, a Troll's home.
The song "Arntor, Ein Windir" is based upon an old folk song.

It is the last record released with Valfar playing the majority of the instruments. The cover art is originally a propaganda poster from Nazi Germany's puppet regime in occupied Norway during WWII, painted by Nazi propaganda artist Harald Damsleth, although the band is not considered National Socialist Black Metal.
