Days Like These is a studio album by Diesel released in August 2008. The album reached a peak of 17 on the ARIA Charts in September 2008. The album was recorded in 12 days, whereby Diesel recorded 17 tracks. There were some overdubs done later but basically the tracks were done really quickly. It was probably the fastest writing process for me ever. Diesel toured the album around Australia from October to December 2008. It was just the three of us, says Diesel. The album Total Eclipse, sounds somewhat like Living Colour, though nowhere as diverse in it's multi genre influences, nor as funky. It is not as successful as Living Colour's first two albums sonically, in my opinion, but that is a tall order. As a matter of fact, out of all the early 90's black funkmetal bands, Total Eclipse played their brand of funkmetal the straightest, sounding like a combination of Living Colour with the heavy metal sensibilities of Van Halen.
