The group's earliest release was the psychedelic rock-influenced single To Be or Not to Be. Though, at first, Yesterday's Children were a standard garage band, they transitioned into a psychedelic proto-heavy metal outfit that released one cult classic album in 1970 before disbanding. They released three singles and one self titled album before splitting up in 1969. Apart from a few spurious pieces of information scattered over the internet and a transcription of a short interview with guitarist Don Howard Krantz not much else is really known about the band.
