Текст песни: That everyone is trynna find in this world Its very necessary Fortune We gotta go hard on this one Yiadom-Boakye. British, b. Established Representation. Lynette Yiadom-Boakye. Lauded painter Lynette Yiadom-Boakye assembles images from scrapbooks, drawings, and her imagination into lush compositions of human figures. The recipient of the Future Generation Art Prize and selected for the 55th Venice Biennale, she is equally focused on the history of painting, the material qualities of oil on canvas, and her particular subject matter. British painter Lynette Yiadom-Boakye is gaining enthusiastic audiences for her brooding portraits of black life. Its a cold, rainy morning in South London, and Lynette Yiadom-Boakye, wearing jeans and fluffy slippers, is stirring a pot of homemade porridge. Theres an easy confidence about her, a welcoming warmth and humor. Her duplex garden flat is a cozy mix of elements that dont belong together but get along just fine-bold patterns, busy wallpapers lots of flowers and birds, strange old pieces of furniture. Yiadom-Boakye was born in London in 1977, the daughter of two nurses who came to Britain from Ghana. After a foundation course at Central St Martins, she studied for her degree at Falmouth College of Art, and for her MA at the Royal Academy Schools. In her 20s she continued to paint, but she also held down a variety of jobs, including one testing mobiles in a phone-recycling plant a job to drive anyone insane, as she puts it.
