After tramping 70km through Nki National Park in the congo basin rainforest in Cameroon, we stayed the night at the Baka pygmy village on the outskirts free to Baka Pygmies Cameroon: Baka Pygmy Music Music For the Buma Dance, Hut Song and more. 10 tracks 45:52. The singing the song is done by the women, while the men march the song dance. The only musical accompaniment is percussion consisting of simple drums, rattles, and iron blades struck against each other. This mid-1970s recording was made by Simha Arom and Phillipe Renaud.
