Album
George Harrison is the eighth studio album by English musician George Harrison, released in February 1979. It was written and recorded through much of 1978, a period of domestic contentment for Harrison, during which he married Olivia Trinidad Arias and became a father for the first time, to son Dhani. Harrison wrote several of the songs in Hawaii, while the track Faster reflected his year away from music-making, when he and Arias attended many of the races in the 1977 Formula 1 World Championship. George Harrison 's solo career boasted this uniformity of message, as he spent a lifetime in search of a higher meaning and a more perfect love. It always had a familial atmosphere too. His sound shifted from initial experimentation to huge rock productions through an R&B-influenced phase and into a sleeker, more mainstream feel, yet friends and close collaborators remained. Make sure you don't just vote for critically acclaimed albums if you have a favorite George Harrison album, then vote it up, even if it's not necessar. George Harrison. One is that he was only allowed to contribute one of his own songs to each Beatles album a blatant untruth given the wealth of classic material that he penned during his time with the band. Another, oddly enough, is surrounding his first solo album. In reality, Harrisons first solo album was the Wonderwall Music, a 1968 soundtrack recording for the film Wonderwall, and an album on which Harrison gave free rein to his oft-hidden experimental side.
