According to Richie Hayward, Wait Till the Shit Hits the Fan dates back to their debut but the band had trouble recording it on the last two albums due to its irregular 78 meter. It was scrapped until the sessions for this album when it was recorded live in the studio as The Fan while the original version appeared on Hotcakes & Outtakes: 30 Years Of. Little Feat are one of the most influential American bands of the seventies. Founded by Lowell George and Bill Payne in L. in 1969 they produced a series of highly original albums over the next decade featuring an eclectic blend of rock 'n' roll, blues, country, folk, soul and jazz in album Little Feat - Feats Don't Fail Me Now 1974.
