The album went immediately to no. 1 in the British charts remaining there for a total of nine of its 37 weeks in the Top Twenty. Yet again in the US, things were different. Ticket To Ride is not a Help era song to me. The song was featured in Help, but its more of a Beatles For Sale era song. The reason why I state this is because, Yes It Is was on the Beatles VI album. I played the song relentlessly in jukeboxes between the release date in April through out the summer of 1965. By the time, Help, was released in August 1965, I had overplayed it. Help is the fifth studio album by English rock band The Beatles. It was first released on 6 August 1965 in the United Kingdom by Parlophone and on 13 August in the United States by Capitol Records.
