This is a magnificent recording of this great opera. Alberto Erede has solved every interpretive issue in the score. The singing is wonderful Mario del Monaco does not compete with Jussi Bjoerling he sings Nessun Dorma, not as a show stopper, but as an integral part of the third act it is a song of the night.
