Race is the third studio album released by Australian new wave band, Pseudo Echo. It was released via EMI Australia in 1988 and RCA Records internationally in 1989. Race resulted in a musical change for the group as it mirrored the music landscape at the time dominated by big hair, big guitars and rock. I called the album EGO, not in the negative full of myself connotation, but in the self-exploratory Gurram is the feature film soundtrack of the 2014 family drama film of the same name starring Allu Arjun, Shaam, Shruti Haasan and Saloni Aswani. Directed by Surender Reddy, the film's music and background score was composed by S. Thaman marking his first collaboration with Allu Arjun and second collaboration with Surender Reddy.
